Art can be a tough business...Really when it comes to money and the whole "rat" race we sometimes just wanna take the easy way out and grab the cheat sheet. But whatever we choose to do in this life, one thing is a guarantee. Nothing worth having comes easy. We all got goals and ambitions and in the end, we all gotta fight for what we want. What we believe is what we can be.
Back when I wasn't set and solid on my convictions, all I did was look to other people. What they were doing and peeking at their success. To be honest it was very painful and I didn't know how to get out of it. We all go through tough times like this. Some of us make it out. Most settle and choose to stay where they are.
It's important to realize that we all got something to say. No matter how big or small it is. If we don't express it one way or another then we aren't living. Our souls need to be fed. And it is full by sharing our gifts and talents.
And of course that can take some time to figure out. Many of us haven't found our voice. But the journey finding it is the best part of it all. If we had all the rewards without earning them, then how can we appreciate it? So I'll confess something to you right here and now...
